EPISODE IX: Let It End

Chapter 1: Unexpected Surprise

Ken and Eto was both in bed holding onto one another and suddenly they heard a loud gunshot outside their room making them jump and land on the floor.

“Gear! Armor! Clothes!” Ken said.

Eto threw him some clothes and she tripped and fell putting hers on.

Ken opened the door only to see Hide there blinking with a Raloi guard holding a pistol up.

“I asked him to wake you up, didn’t think he’d do that.” Hide said.

Ken banged his head on the entranceway.

“It’s okay Eto, we aren’t under attack.” Ken said.

“I swear to god that guard better be gone when I get up!” Eto shouted.

The Raloi guard immediately ran off.

“Sorry dude, I thought he’d just knock or something.” Hide said.

“It’s fine, people are getting crazier lately. Perhaps after this war things will be back to normal.” Ken said.

Eto yawned getting up and heading to the bathroom and clutched her stomach for a moment and immediately threw up in the sink.

Ken turned his head hearing it.

“Eto?” Ken asked heading into the bathroom.

Hide stayed in the hallway looking in with a cocked eyebrow.

“I heard a gunshot.” Scourge said walking up with his lightsaber drawn.

“It’s our wake-up call it seems.” Hide said.

“Well, then why are you standing here? Where’s Ken and Eto?” Scourge asked.

“Eto’s throwing up for some reason.” Hide said.

“Probably nerves- come on we should get ready. They will be with us shortly.” Scourge said.

As Scourge and Hide left, Ken was checking Eto’s temperature with a medical device.

“Everything seems fine but I don’t know what this glowing green thing is on the side.” Ken said.

“It’s a blasted Raloi thing. I’ll ask Octavia.” Eto said.

Eto walked off and knocked on Octavia’s door.

“I’m preparing myself, just wait in the meeting room please!” Octavia shouted from the other side.

“It’s me, I got a question about a medical device.” Eto said.

“Ask away.” Octavia said.

“Well, Ken was checking to see if I was okay because I threw up suddenly, and for some reason, there is a green flashing button on this thing and we-” Eto was saying.

Octavia immediately opened the door and took a look at it.

“What is it?” Eto asked.

Octavia scanned Eto and the green light kept flashing.

“Oh my god, you’re pregnant.” Octavia said.

Eto stood there not moving or breathing and Octavia quickly had to smack her to breathe again.

“Relax, relax.” Octavia said.

“Oh my god, how could this happen.” Eto said.

“Well you must have had sex with Ken.” Octavia said.

“I know how it happened! I’m just surprised is all.” Eto said

“Alright just calm down. We will need to tell Ken.” Octavia said.

“Won’t that jeopardize what’s going on?” Eto asked.

“Yes but for a good reason. Listen just wait in the meeting room and we can discuss it soon. Right now we both have to be ready. The strike on the Aparoid Queen is today.” Octavia said.

Eto took a deep breath and nodded and walked out.

“And hey, congrats!” Octavia said.

Eto walked in the hallway with so much running in her mind and she found herself in the meeting room without realizing it.

“Eto?” Ken asked.

Eto snapped out of it and smiled at Ken hugging him.

“Everything okay?” Ken asked.

“Ken, I need to tell you something.” Eto said.

Before she could say, Thane ran in.

“The space rings are ready and the fleets are in position. The admirals want to go now.” Thane said.

“I guess there will be no time for a meeting then.” Octavia said walking up.

“Ken, what do you think we should do first?” Eto asked.

“Head there and cause trouble.” Ken said with a shrug.

“We will join up with the ground forces. I think Karura is getting the ship ready.” Thane said.

“Then let’s get going.” Eto said.

They headed off to the landing pad outside and Scourge was packing up the last crate of bacta.

“Ship is ready.” Scourge told them.

“Do you need guards your majesty?” A Raloi guard asked Octavia.

“No, I will be fine. Go with the main ground force please.” Octavia said.

The guards gave her a bow and headed off.

“You’re going to have fun bossing your guards around.” Karura said with a grin.

“I hope you’re joking.” Octavia said.

“I am I am. I used to have fun with them. Told them to throw a ball at one another’s heads for my amusement.” Karura said.

“Terrible.” Hide said with a shake of his head.

“I know, they sucked at it.” Karura said.

Ken grinned a little.

“Come on guys, let’s save the galaxy.” Ken said.

The Last Resort lifted up into the sky and with it was different Federation and Raloi vessels and they all flew up into space where many fleets was gathered in front of hyperspace rings.

The Alexandrian robots attached themselves to the hulls of some of the ships for quick transportation.

Brute Justice latched onto the Last Resort.

“It shows we have a fleet of six million.” Hide said.

“Awesome!” Kugo said.

“This is Alexander, everyone we will launch to what we are calling their new homeworld in one minute from now.” Alexander said.

All ships’ engines shined to life and readied.

“This is it, no going back.” Karura said.

“Let’s do it for the fallen.” Eto said.

“For everyone who died.” Ken said.

The Otter jumped on Karura’s lap and pointed forward.

The minute was up and all ships entered the Hyperspace rings and teleported to the Thule System.

The fleets exited out of space in front of the planet Thule.

Blockading the planet was over six-hundred Aparoid Moths.

All of the Moths aimed their abdomens and gathered energy to fire solar beams toward the ships.

“Did they expect us?” Ken asked.

“No, I think we startled them.” Scourge said.

“Our little trap is now in play.” Alexander said on the intercom.

In the distance, a few more fleets left hyperspeed from another direction and sent out long-range missiles toward the Aparoid Moths while their fleet did the same.

“Oh, nice!” Hide said.

“The hyperspace rings can take you to any point in space, we set in coordinates to surround different parts of orbit so that we have an advantage.” Alexander said.

The missiles suddenly exploded against an invisible hexagon shield.

“What the!?” Karura said.

“We anticipated this.” Alexander said.

One of the Geth Dreadnoughts pushed into the hexagon shield and warped it’s engines at full power making the Hexagons break apart and around the orbit, other Geth Dreadnoughts did the same thing and the hexagon shield around the planet began to deteriorate before slowly dissolving away.

“There we go!” Karura said.

All of the ships entered through.

“Keep going, they might renew the hexagon shield.” Alexander said.

All fleets moved in further and headed straight at the Aparoid forces.

But behind them, over fifty thousand Aparoids was coming out of hyperspeed and more was still on the way.

Ken’s eyebrows raised as he looked at the scanner.

“But we didn’t anticipate that.” Alexander said.

Chapter 2: The Aparoid Homeworld

All of the Aparoid Moths begin to send out solar beams toward the fleets and the fleets retaliated by shooting toward their directions while moving in toward the planet.

“Aparoids are coming in behind us, keep heading to the planet.” An Admiral said on the intercom.

“Guys, we are being followed.” Karura said.

One Aparoid flew up behind them and knocked into them breaking away a bit of the engine in the back of the ship.

“Losing control!” Karura shouted.

Everyone hanged onto something while they was dropping from the atmosphere and down toward the planet.

An Aparoid Moth flew down beside them ready to fire its solar beam but was immediately shot down into its head by a Nebula-class that was heading down with them.

Karura flew the ship upward and let it skid against a flat surface of the land.

“We’re still going!” Scourge shouted.

“Trying to stop!” Karura shouted back.

The ship lost a few more hull parts and finally, it stopped.

Everyone unhooked and got out of the ship seeing the engines on fire.

“Guess it’s toast.” Hide said.

“We’re on the planet so, at least we are here.” Ken said.

A few Federation ships flew overhead with some landing craft dropping down war machines and soldiers.

Two large tanks rolled by with some soldiers following.

“Come on we need to follow the main brigade.” Scourge said to them.

Everyone ran with the main brigade and saw incoming Aparoid Crawlers in the distance.

“We are trying to find a way to the Queen, for now, try to reach one of their major holes across the planet. We believe them to be an entrance to the core of the Queen.” Alexander said on the comlink.

“Got it, we are heading to one now.” Ken said.

“It’s two miles away, but we can manage.” Karura said.

“Wait, are those humans?” Hide said pointing to the distance.

They saw humanoids with strange gunk coming out of their bodies and some of their organs was hanging out. They looked monstrous.

“What in the fuck is that.” Karura said.

“Are you guys seeing this shit?” Kugo asked on the comlink.

“Yes, the Aparoids harvest bodies and reform them.” An Admiral said.

“So wait, this is Aparoid transfusion, disgusting!” Ken said.

The Aparoid infected humans begin to attack with a few other alien races that was infected heading off to attack with them.

Everyone opened fire.

“This isn’t good, especially now that they have infused beings. They’re using the dead against us.” Kugo said.

Two more large tanks was dropped down and they take down a group of infected humans and Aparoid Crawlers.

Meanwhile, in space, the last fleet to arrive was the main Federation fleet, over four hundred Nebula-class star destroyers, four hundred Endurance-class fleet carriers, and six hundred Acclamator-class assault ships spread between the larger ships.

Two hundred of the Acclamator’s immediately headed down to the planet to drop down over thousands of Federation soldiers but on the way they faced Aparoid Moths that shot solar beams into the ships to cause them to either explode or crash violently into the surface of the planet.

“Looks like the Federation’s main forces are here.” Kugo said.

“That’s a lot of ships.” Ken said.

“You complaining?” Eto asked with a smirk.

“Hell no. I’m perfectly fine with it.” Ken said.

Kugo turned around seeing Aparoids coming from their flank and sliced down two of them while jumping over an Infected Turian and slicing it in half.

“We seriously have to hurry.” Kugo said.

Two starfighters flew by and dropped down protons toward the hexagon shield that covered an entrance to the queen but it didn’t shatter it.

“We need to get in there!” A pilot shouted on the intercom.

One of the Quarian Liveships orbited nearby and bombarded the shield but it was staying strong.

“There has to be something powering that hexagon shield, it can’t just be from the Aparoid Moths themselves. Ken, can you and your group head forward and find anything that might be a power cable of sorts?” Alexander asked on the comlink.

“We’re heading there now.” Ken said.

The group ran up ahead to the outskirts of the hexagon dome and they looked around.

“Wait, look at the ground over there.” Kugo said.

They noticed a mound-lining and heading off somewhere.

“That might just lead us to the power generator.” Thane said.

The group headed that way and saw Aparoid Moths coming in from the sky and one of them noticed them and aimed and fire a solar beam toward them.

Octavia created a magical barrier to absorb the energy of the beam and then two Federation destroyers move in and attack the Aparoid Moth hitting it’s wings and killing it.

“I think it’s in this cave.” Scourge said finding an entrance.

They entered a cave filled with glowing green crystals and found a large cord of sorts with glowing hexagons around it heading further into the cave.

“Then this is the way.” Eto said.

“I will stay at the entrance and make sure nothing comes in from the flank.” Scourge said.

Hide turned on a flashlight and pointed it forward.

“I will lead since I got the sword.” Kugo said.

Kugo walked through the narrow cave with everyone following.

Two Aparoid Crawlers crawled at him and he easily sliced them down.

“I see some strange glow of colors.” Kugo said.

They made it to an opening in the cave where a few Aparoid Crawlers was heading toward them and they killed them left to right.

“There it is, generator controls.” Ken said.

They looked at the complex machine in confusion.

“I don’t know what to push.” Kugo said.

“Stand back, I’m going to give it an overcharge and hope that it works.” Octavia said.

Octavia waved her hand toward the machine and sent an aura into it and suddenly a burst of lightning flooded the inside of the machine and blew it up and then they felt a harsh rumble as the cave began to collapse.

“That did it, let’s go!” Kugo shouted.

They ran through the narrow cave just in time before it fully collapsed.

Outside, the hexagon dome shielding began to fade away.

“All starfighters, try to shoot at that shield again.” Alexander said on the intercom.

Starfighters sent down proton torpedoes and the hexagon shield began to deteriorate of its energy.

“Yup it’s working now.” A pilot said.

“Ground forces, hurry to the edge of that shield and take it out and find a way to safely enter the hole to the core.” Alexander said.

The Aparoid Moths began to make a screeching sound to one another and they all aimed their abdomens right at Alexander and fired them exploding him into pieces.

“Oh no.” Ken said in shock.

The Aparoid Moths were going crazy and even sacrificing themselves running into a few frigates.

“I think we got them angry.” Hide said.

Chapter 3: The Past Catches Up To Us

A couple of days before the battle of the Aparoid Homeworld, on the planet Edan Prime, there was an excavation going on and a few Cyro Chambers of dead ancient aliens was found but one of them, was a fully preserved Alien.

“I thought we weren’t supposed to unearth these yet?” A scientist asked another.

“Arentei is dead, I don’t know what to do other than continue our excavation.” The scientist remarked.

“What alien is this? It looks well preserved other than the other ones.” The scientist said.

“We should take it to the ship and see if there is any blood in it, unlike the others that are all dust.” Another scientist told them.

Suddenly the alien that was well preserved began to move.

His four eyes opened weakly and he groaned looking around.

“He’s alive!” A scientist shouted.

“Give him some room.” Another scientist said.

“Sir, we have reports of ten Aparoids in the System heading to the planet.” A scientist said running in.

“Not now, we have made history. We have found a living ancient alien.” A scientist said to him.

The four-eyed alien focused on one of the Scientists and then looked around seeing all of the scientists.

“We come in peace!” A scientist shouted.

“What year is it.” The alien said.

“Amazing, he can speak basic.” A scientist said.

“Don’t make me ask again, what year is it.” The alien said.

“He’s acting aggressive, get the sedative ready.” A scientist said to the others.

A dark energy of sorts wrapped around everyone’s bodies and knocked them out except for one scientist who stood there shocked and dropped everything he was holding.

“You, Primitive. Where is your ruler.” The alien said.

“W-we don’t have one as of right now.” The scientist said.

“That makes no sense, all must be ruled by a ruler.” The alien said.

“What’s your name?” The scientist asked.

The alien was silent and looked around before looking back to him.

“Javik.” Javik said.

Javik looked around and noticed a transport nearby.

“I shall take your vehicle and find your leader.” The Javik said.

“Wait- hold on.” The scientist said.

Javik looked at him and the dark energy he used prior he used again and knocked that scientist out.

Javik went into the transport and put his hands on the board concentrating with his power to learn how to operate it and after a minute, he operated it with ease and headed off into space.

An hour later, Javik arrived over the planet Coruscant, but to his surprise, it was decimated around the surface and there was debris of Federation ships orbiting the planet.

“What is going on, did he already come here?” Javik questioned himself.

Now to the present…

Javik’s transport entered the Sur’kesh system and headed to the Salarian Homeworld.

There was Aparoid Moths leaving the planet and opening hexagon portals to Thule as they was getting telekinetic messages to protect the Queen.

Javik noticed them leave but paid it no mind and went to the planet Sur’kesh.

Meanwhile on Thule.

Two Aparoid Moths fly over a line of tanks demolishing them with their solar beams and some soldiers fell into the large hole screaming.

“We can’t just simply go in, it seems it will just suck us in.” Scourge said.

Ken got on the comlink.

“We need starfighter support!” Ken said.

“We have sixteen thousand more Aparoids coming down to the planet, they are teleporting here.” A soldier said on the comlink.

Eto looked up at the sky seeing Decorus’ flagship and noticed a troop transport landing nearby.

“I got a crazy idea, but we need to have ships go inside.” Eto said.

“What if the hole narrows on us?” Scourge implied.

“Then that’s a risk we have to take, this is getting messy the longer we plan things.” Eto said.

“She’s right, we have to hurry.” Octavia said.

They headed to the troop transport.

“Pilot, take us to Decorus’ Flagship please!” Ken said.

The transport headed up into the sky passed some incoming missiles that hit an Aparoid killing it and entered the main hanger of the Nebula-class star destroyer.

Everyone ran out of the transport and headed to the elevator and up to the bridge where a temporary admiral was standing with the Otter beside him.

“Ken?” The admiral asked.

“Admiral, we have a crazy plan but hear us out.” Ken said.

“Crazy might help us.” The admiral said.

“I want everyone on this ship to leave. I and my group will stay and operate the ship and leave things on automatic except for the flight pattern.” Ken said.

The crew members’ eyes widened looking at them.

“You want to take, a heavily armed military vessel by yourselves? Operated by a crew of at minimum, two thousand? With just you eight?” The admiral questioned.

“No more lives need to be lost. You guys go to the ground and we will head to the core with this ship. This ship has enough firepower to perhaps take on the queen alone. We got some starfighters in the hanger if you’ll let us have eight. I know that two people could operate the engines if they talk to one another across the room so that they are on the right page of things. I know it can take four to operate the turbolasers and main guns. It can take one person to steer this thing as well. And lastly, someone to regulate power between shields and guns.” Ken said.

The crew looked at one another and to the Admiral.

“But you risk no engineers to fix anything.” The admiral said.

Ken looked at his friends who looked determined and Ken looked back to the admiral.

“We knew the risks when we came here.” Ken said.

The admiral saluted Ken.

“Men, we are abandoning ship! To the transports! Remaining pilots to starfighters except for eight!” The admiral shouted.

Two crew members relayed the message to the rest of the crew on the ship and everyone hurried out.

“This is going to be risky.” Scourge said.

“It’s the only thing I see we can do.” Ken said.

After a few minutes, everyone except for them left the ship and they was on the bridge at different stations preparing.

“Ken.” Eto said.

“Yes?” Ken asked.

“I need to tell you something important right now. I’m… pregnant.” Eto said.

Ken was speechless.

“Congrats!” Hide said.

The Otter clapped while he was standing on Scourge’s shoulder.

“Congrats!? She’s pregnant you idiot! And in a war!” Kugo said.

“I only found out this morning.” Eto said.

“You’re pregnant in a war!” Kugo shouted.

“Everyone stop, please.” Ken said.

Everyone looked to Ken who walked over to Eto and gave her a hug.

“I know if you told me, you’d come anyways.” Ken said.

“That I would. We are all in this together. I would be ashamed if I didn’t come and something awful happened.” Eto said.

Kugo grunted and looked out the bridge window noticing the hexagon dome returning.

“Oh shit.” Kugo said.

Ken looked out the window to see it returning.

“They must have turned on some sort of back up.” Scourge said.

“What do we do?” Eto asked.

“We tear that shield down any way we can.” Ken said.

Chapter 4: Tunnel of Memories

Brute Justice smashed his fists into the hexagon shield trying to break it but it wasn’t working.

Cruise Chaser flew up and shot a few rocket pods as a few Federation ships sent down bombardment to the shield.

“It’s not working.” Brute Justice said.

Cruise Chaser flew back down until a solar beam vaporized him from a nearby Aparoid Moth and two Aparoid Moths circle Brute Justice knocking him down and battering his robotic body up.

Two Federation ships was immediately vaporized by incoming solar beams from above the sky.

“Oh my god.” Ken said.

There was large hexagon portals opening in the sky with Aparoid Missiles coming down, but they was bigger than the ones they have seen before.

“That won’t just take out a city, that could wipe out anything in a ten-mile radius or more.” Eto said.

“The Aparoids will kill themselves just to save their Queen.” Karura said.

Nearly a million Aparoid Moths were hovering in space and began to bombard the planet with solar beams, wiping out artillery, war machines, and ships.

“This is crazy!” Kugo shouted.

Two Quarian Liveships flew by them at fast speed.

“Ken, I’m getting a message that the Quarian fleet wants us to stay here until we see an opening and to use thrusters to push in.” Thane said.

“What?” Ken asked.

Before Thane could explain, six Quarian Liveships with two Geth Dreadnoughts fly right toward the hexagon dome over the hole and crash into it with their engines at full blast and they managed to shatter the shield making a hole and all of the ships exploded wiping out Aparoid Moths around them.

“Thrusters!” Thane shouted.

Hide and Thane who were on the engine consoles got the ship to go right through the opened hole and just in time as the hexagon shield regenerated immediately.

Outside, missiles hit the ground and the entire surface of the planet was being vaporized with Aparoid Moths in space still sending down an orbital bombardment of solar beams.

“We made it inside!” Ken said.

Karura was piloting and looked over to Ken.

“Alright, keep your eyes open everyone. There could be a trap.” Karura said.

“Too bad Decorus isn’t here.” Octavia said.

“If he was, he’d be speechless that we was using his own ship to go through this place to the core of a planet.” Eto said.

“He’d probably be praying in his mind.” Hide said with a grin.

“I’m praying right now.” Thane said.

The Otter squeaked something and Scourge just frowned with a sigh.

“I see you got a little friend.” Eto said to him.

“He just decided to stand on my shoulder, he isn’t a friend.” Scourge said.

“Yet you’re letting him.” Eto said.

Scourge just frowned and didn’t say any more.

It was silent and they was still going through the large hole.

“Can you go any faster?” Kugo asked.

“Oh sure, maybe hit an invisible shield while I’m at it too. I’m being careful.” Karura said.

“Patience.” Thane said.

“Alright fine.” Kugo sighed.

It was silent again for a moment.

“Remember how we met?” Eto asked.

“It feels like it’s only been a month.” Ken said.

“Probably because it has.” Hide said.

“I find it cute how Hide bumped you into me.” Eto said.

“I guess I have to thank him or we wouldn’t have met.” Ken said.

Ken gave Hide a side hug.

“What bros are for dude.” Hide said.

“We went through so much together.” Octavia said.

“Think of what others in the past must of went through in situations like this.” Kugo said.

“Reminds me of Aizen and I’s quest for the Breakdown Sphere. I know he had one hell of an adventure to get to where he was. From a nobody to a King and a god to well, now he’s dead.” Karura said.

“Eto here is of Aizen’s lineage you know.” Hide said.

“I know, and Ken there is of Serenity’s lineage.” Karura said.

“Who?” Kugo asked.

“A girl who came from a cursed family, and they defeated an evil woman and their curse ended and they became free and saved the entire galaxy from mass destruction.” Hide said.

“Sure been a lot of big moments in history. All of them are just galactic or worldly heroism.” Scourge said.

“And we are making history right now.” Thane said.

“True, very true.” Octavia said.

“I see something coming up.” Karura said.

Everyone looked out the window and saw an entire swarm of at least sixty Aparoid Moths all bundled together with their abdomens aimed out and charging solar beams.

“Ken.” Karura said.

Ken was breathing heavily and sweating.

“All of you go to the hangers now. Go into starfighters and fly as fast as your ships can. I will handle this.” Karura said.

“But-” Ken began to say.

“Go now.” Karura said with a hiss.

Everyone ran out of the bridge and Karura walked over to the engine console typing something on it, then she typed on the weapon console having all turbolaser turrets aim forward.

Karura walked back to the helm and sighed.

“One minute before the engines go forward.” Karura said to herself.

Karura tapped her fingers on the console and thought about everything that she did wrong in the past.

Suddenly she could hear Aizen’s voice approaching her from behind and she could see his form in a ghostly light.

“I forgave you a long time ago.” Aizen said to her.

Karura started to cry.

“I held onto so much anger for what happened to us.” Karura said.

Aizen gave her a ghostly hug and Karura felt him like he was alive and then placed her arms around him hugging him back.

“It’s okay. We both did wrong.” Aizen said.

Karura looked back at the Aparoids then to Aizen with a worried look.

“Aizen.” Karura said with fear in her voice.

“I know.” Aizen said understanding she was scared of death.

Karura noticed everyone in Aurek-class starfighters and she pushed the button on the console.

The Nebula-class flew forward and it’s weapon systems automatically shot everything forward with missiles with the virus knocking into the Aparoid Moths along with laser fire blasting them up.

Some of them managed to fire solar beams into the hull of the ship but it kept ongoing.

The Nebula-class crashed past them and hit a second shield.

“No- no you don’t! Not now!” Karura shouted.

Karura was shocked by the damaged console but she kept typing on it baring the pain.

The turrets and engine shut off and all power was being transferred to the reactor and it was making alerting sounds as there would be an overload if anything was to breach.

One Aparoid Moth broke right into the bridge of the ship and aimed its abdomen at Karura with a beam charging up.

Karura gave it a mean look.

“Well come on then bitch, let’s see how powerful that stupid beam of yours is compared to your insectoid dick!” Karura shouted.

The Aparoid shot its solar beam and the ship’s reactor exploded, causing the entire ship and Aparoid to obliterate and the hexagon shield to shatter.

Ken and the others zoomed past the debris and made it through before the hexagon shield regenerated.

“Thank you, Karura. I hope you found the peace you deserve.” Ken said to himself.

Chapter 5: The Queen

Meanwhile, on the planet Sur’kesh, Javik arrived at an empty spaceport and there was Aparoid Crawlers going around collecting bodies to his surprise.

The Aparoid Crawlers saw him and headed his way but they was immediately destroyed by his dark energy ability.

“Stupid bugs, what the hell is going on? Where is the leader of this damned planet.” Javik said to himself.

Javik headed further into the city on his own.

Back at Thule…

“Guess Joker’s flying lessons came in handy.” Octavia said on the comlink to everyone.

“Remember, do not waste the missiles until we have a direct lock on the Queen’s soft shell of her body.” Scourge said.

“All virus capsules are in the missiles.” Hide assured.

“I see something up ahead, all engines to max.” Ken said.

The starfighters flew into a large opened dome room with reflective metal attached to the walls and floating baby egg sacks with baby Aparoids inside.

“Oh my god…” Eto said.

The ceiling had over millions of egg sacks.

In the middle of the room was an armored plated Aparoid that was much larger than the other Aparoid Moths, it was the Queen herself.

There was a humming sound ringing in their ears and then it faded away.

“Everyone okay?” Hide asked.

“Everything will be okay.” Aizen’s voice was heard in their minds.

“What the…?” Eto said.

“Give in, this isn’t death, it’s evolution.” Atton’s voice said.

“Impossible, you’re dead.” Thane said.

“What the hell is going on!?” Kugo shouted.

“What’s going on is freedom, give in and we can all become one, we can become, one being.” Stolas’ voice said.

“Stop this, whatever this is!” Octavia shouted.

“I know what’s going on, the Queen entered our minds to see our memories and is using this as a trick.” Scourge said.

The Otter squeaked something while he was on Scourge’s lap.

“What do you want!” Ken shouted.

There was a moment of silence until the room began to get brighter.

“All for us, everything in the universe exists for us. Bow before us, submit to us.” The Aparoid Queen said.

“Us? Or do you mean you.” Ken said.

“Fighting is futile, this galaxy must be harvested to make a new life, the life that I shall birth into existence. With all of your bodies, I can finally have a soul and with it, I make a new galaxy of life, my offspring, my legacy.” The Aparoid Queen said.

“You can’t just do this thinking you’ll make a legacy for yourself! Others will stop you!” Ken said.

“Not if no one is left to stop me.” The Aparoid Queen said.

The Aparoid Queen’s metal wings opened up and a few spheres was seen along with its wings.

“Ken.” Scourge said.

“Yup.” Ken replied.

“Accept this as your transcendence into a better future. My future, my existence, my universe.” The Aparoid Queen said.

There was six solar beams appearing in her six metal wings.

Ken shook his head and nodded.

“Attack!” Ken shouted.

Everyone shot at the spheres on her wings knocking her metal wings down.

“We are the ones who survive, resistance is nothing!” The Aparoid Queen shouted.

They flew around shooting down her metal platings.

“Ken, she’s charging up something weird around her head.” Kugo said.

A purple circle was around the Queen and it spread out knocking everyone away, they managed to get their starfighters operating normally again and headed back at her shooting down her metal armor.

“Got contact!” Eto shouted.

Scourge turned around and flew at the Aparoid Queen.

“Want to do the honors?” Scourge asked the Otter.

The Otter pressed the red trigger button and two missiles launched and hit right into the Queen’s abdomen and spread the virus.

“Direct hit!” Ken shouted.

Eto did the same thing next and Hide did it next and they saw the Aparoid Queen beginning to sink into the fluid of the room.

“We got her!” Hide said.

The area began to rumble and the liquid was starting to drain and the Queen was escaping through it into a secret tunnel.

“Something’s wrong, she’s suppressing the virus.” Octavia said.

“She’s trying to make an anti-body. Oh my god, she’s literally trying to cure herself.” Kugo said.

“We need to stop her, down into the tunnel everyone.” Ken said.

Kugo and Octavia entered first and then a purple beam shot out and vaporized both of them.

“No!” Eto shouted.

“The Queen’s powers are growing stronger!” Scourge shouted.

They flew into the tunnel and spun immediately away from the next incoming beam.

The Queen’s remaining shell shattered away and she turned around revealing a large eye open and staring at them.

“We are perfect. We are not the same as these fell creatures.” The Aparoid Queen said.

Ken shot at her and some of the lasers hit her but didn’t seem to really bother her.

There was a line of rings that knocked into his ship making it spin out of control.

“Ken!” Eto shouted.

Ken managed to eject out and landed on the Queen’s body near her eye.

Ken heard a humming sound and jumped away before she shot a plasma beam which surprised everyone and it hit Scourge’s starfighter knocking him toward the tunnel wall.

“Blasted bug.” Scourge said while holding onto the Otter who was holding onto him.

Scourge’s starfighter exploded.

“No!” Eto shouted.

The plasma hit Eto and Hide’s starfighters and they had to eject and both landed on the Aparoid Queen.

Thane shot out a missile with the virus in it and it lodged into the Aparoid Queen but didn’t set off.

“Such pointless actions…” The Aparoid Queen said in a tired voice.

Thane shot at her eye making her screech but it didn’t seem to do any damage to her eye.

The Aparoid Queen shot a ring of energy again and it sliced Thane’s starfighter in half and cut him in half as well.

Ken and Eto helped Hide up and the Queen blew herself back as the three was free-falling above her and she was flying backward.

“Your attempts will be remembered until I gain a soul to care to rid your history from existence.” The Aparoid Queen said.

Ken and Eto went into their Kakuja forms and Ken attached to Eto and suddenly their forms changed to what looked like final forms.

Hide noticed the lodged missile in the Aparoid Queen and leaned over to Ken and Eto’s ear.

“I need a distraction and I’ll try to manually get that thing to blow up.” Hide said.

“But then you’ll be-” Ken began to say.

“A hero! Heh, think positive man.” Hide said encouragingly.

“Dead.” Ken finished.

“Again, think positive.” Hide said.

Hide closed his hands and feet and zoomed forward while Ken and Eto headed straight down at the Queen.

“This is it, our last chance!” Ken shouted.

Chapter 6: Let It End

Ken summoned eight tentacles with metal shields with blades on the bottom of them in a cross shape and spun in mid air crashing them down into the Aparoid Queen and let out a dark explosion from each of them into her.

Eto shot out a blue sphere that hit the Queen and exploded erupting some of her flesh away.

“No, we are truth! Only us! No!” The Aparoid Queen shouted.

Two more tentacles smashed into the Queen’s eye making her blink rapidly.

The Aparoid Queen noticed Hide coming down toward her and she tried to move but Eto smashed herself against the Queen to keep her there.

“What are you doing, do not touch that!” The Aparoid Queen shouted at Hide.

Hide managed to grab onto the missile and put his blaster up to it.

“Touching it!” Hide shouted.

Hide sacrificed himself by shooting it and the missile exploded letting out the virus that spread through the Queen.

“No! I am truth! Only me!” The Aparoid Queen shouted in pain.

The Queen let out a plasma beam that shot out and hit both Ken and Eto and their Kakuja forms disappeared and they was falling in mid-air holding onto one another.

“She’s dying!” Ken shouted.

“Ken…” Eto said softly.

Ken noticed the Queen charging one final blast while her body was being eaten up by the virus.

“I love you, you know that right?” Ken asked.

“I love you, I’m sure you already knew that.” Eto said.

The two held onto one another as the purple beam vaporized them both.

The Aparoid Queen screeched in pain as the virus ate her up till there was nothing left but mush and blood.

The Aparoids all over the galaxy stopped moving and fell over lifeless as their telekinetic link to the Queen ended.

The planet Thule began to fall apart from the inside out and the entire planet exploded.

Aparoid Moths fell from the sky on many worlds and crashed into the city ruins of what they harvested.

The war was over but at a great cost.

The galaxy silently prayed that day till night, everything was calm after the storm.

The next day on the planet Sur’kesh…

Two Salarian operatives were talking to one another about the end of the war and six Salarian engineers walked by carrying dead Aparoids off to a burning pile.

“I can’t believe Ken and his team are all dead.” One Salarian operative said.

“I can’t believe this has happened. The Federation is only down to about ten thousand soldiers and only six fleets surviving.” The other Salarian operative said.

Both of them saw Javik running to them.

“I can’t believe what I’m seeing.” The first Salarian operative said.

“Do not be afraid, I know you will ask what I am but I have to ask you a question, a serious question. What year is it?” Javik asked.

“Three thousand and one?” The Salarian operative answered.

“Oh no- no no, did you destroy the orb!?” Javik yelled.

“Calm down.” The operative said.

“Answer me! Did anyone in your past or present destroy a glowing blue orb! Did you destroy it! Is ‘he’ dead!?” Javik yelled.

“What are you talking about? Who is he?” The Salarian operative asked.

Javik shook his head in shock.

“You don’t know what I’m talking about. It’s what I feared. I broke into your library and I couldn’t find anything of the destruction of the orb I am talking about.” Javik said.

“What are you talking about? What orb? What is going on?” The Salarian operative asked.

Suddenly… the wind stopped blowing and the sky stood still, everything was deathly silent.

The Salarians looked around confused.

“It’s too late, it doesn’t matter what I say now. It’s over.” Javik said and sat down on the ground.

“He won…” Javik said.

Throughout the galaxy, everyone saw the wind stop and the sky stay still. It was happening in other galaxies as well.

Meanwhile in the dark vacuum of space somewhere in the universe…

The object known as The Breakdown Sphere, Cosmic Divine Crystalline, and simply known as The Orb was floating in the darkness and suddenly it began to crumble and a peal of faint laughter was heard coming from the orb.

Then it went deathly silent and the orb blinked revealing an eye, but an eye with flames inside of the eye socket.

“I rise.” The voice said.

At some random time in the past before EPISODE III.

Somewhere on the planet Sur’kesh, everyone was standing near a cliff while having lunch.

Ken and Eto were sitting together playing chess and Ken finally beat her at it.

“Congrats.” Eto said taking a sip of her coffee.

“Heh, took me fifty tries, and finally won.” Ken said.

“Hey, you two want some hot dogs?” Hide asked them.

“Coming!” Eto said and both she and Ken walked off together with Hide.

The three of them walked over to Hatenko who was grilling and he got the hot dogs ready for them.

Nearby was Jenkins trying to arm wrestle Scourge who was winning and he forfeited while rubbing his aching arm.

Stolas was sitting in a lounge chair while Octavia was putting on some fake eyelashes on him while he had eyeshadow on and his hair in rollers, he seemed to be enjoying the treatment he was getting while he and Octavia just chatted about something and she seemed to be having fun decorating her father to look pretty.

Decorus was sitting on a bench with Tali and the two was talking while their arms were around one another.

A quick glimpse on the planet Palaven, Akira and Makoto were on their break and the two was sitting together having some coffee and chatting with Akira getting a little flirty with Makoto who chuckled and flirted back.

Thane was looking through his sniper scope at the distance to a few mountains and admired the view and handed it to Joker and pointed to where to look and Joker was amazed by the view through the scope.

Atton, Durocidia, and Ian was eating while Ian was discussing chaos theory to them and Durocidia was nearly falling asleep while listening and Atton looked bored.

Down at the bottom of the cliff was Kugo, Riruka, and Yukio just lounging around under some large tree’s in the shadow and Yukio complaining about no gaming reception.

Kirrahe was on his holocom checking on the news and placed it away walking over to Hatenko and Hide to chat with them.

Ken and Eto walked over to a spare bench and sat down looking at the horizon together while taking a bite of their food and smiling at one another.

“So, you wanted an adventure?” Eto said.

“I sure got one.” Ken said.

The two looked at the horizon together while everyone behind them was doing what they was doing prior.

~The End~

2020 The Saga of Ken and Eto is over. This is the final saga of a three sequenced Saga.

Rising Breakdown Sphere is the Prequel saga who’s story is about Aizen, Cosmic Divine Crystalline is the Original saga who’s story is about Serenity, and The Crumbling Orb is the Sequel saga who’s story is about Ken and Eto. Episode VI of The Crumbling Orb saga is about Akira and the truth behind the orb.

There is still the question of what happened to the orb, well that will be answered… soon.

The final story will not be an EPISODE but will be the MOVIE. The last story shall be called: The Rising Divine Orb. It will be coming next year.

This will tell us the final story of what is to come and end this entire storyline of well, everything I’ve worked on. Everything has to come to an end after all and I have enjoyed making these fanfictions of well, OC characters and characters owned by other properties mixed with them. I could say where the ideas came from but that’s something you should ask me privately.

I want to thank my friends and supporters as well and I hope all of you are doing well during our time of crisis with Covid-19 going around. Please be safe, all of you.

In life, it is you to decide your life, your destiny. Please make it a good one.
